L'Auberge Damhotel Edam is situated on a beautiful location in the centre of Edam and therefore offers you, together with the surrounding monumental buildings and the historical square, an unforgettable ambience for your wedding day.
The historical town hall (1737) is situated at the old Damplein (1585), on the opposite of the Damhotel. In the town hall you can get married in the historical council chamber. Hereafter you can find more information on the possibilities in L'Auberge Damhotel. Besides pleasant hotel rooms and diner salons we also have various rooms that are perfectly suitable for your reception or party night. With us, al weddings or parties are unique, because every couple has their own wishes and demands. We are happy to inform you about all possible options during a personal conference.

Getting married in Edam?

Before having a cosy reception and a marvellous gala night, first
there has to be a wedding! It is possible to get married in the historical
town centre of Edam, with or without a glass of champagne, or anything
else you would like. Edams Town Hall exists since 1737.
The historical council chamber is nowadays used solely for weddings, maybe
yours too? We can put out the red carpet for you all the way from the
town hall to the Damhotel, and we can also supply flower decorations.
Our own florist will make sure this is according to your wishes. For more
information regarding marriages in Edam, please call the municipality

In Edam it is also possible to have a church wedding in the Roman Catholic
Church.
TRANSPORT
We can arrange the transport to our hotel in, for example, a limousine
(Bentley, Rolls Royce), old-fashioned carriages, a British double deck
routemaster bus or even a covered wagon (tilt-cart).
IN BETWEEN
After church or town hall it is time to cut the wedding cake, which can
be done in one of L'Auberges salons. Cutting the wedding cake is a traditional
moment that must be toasted on with a glass of champagne.

person It is also possible to have your wedding cake as desert with your
lunch or diner. Depending on the time of marriage, after that you can
enjoy a lunch or dιjeuner dinatoire (late lunch/early diner) with your
guests.
This way you can relax and enjoy a lovely dinnertime with your guests
and family prior to your reception and gala night.
RECEPTION
Your reception can be organised in the Tuinsalon or the Damzaal, depending of the number of invited guests. The Tuinsalon is a room with a pleasant ambiance with its Louis XV architecture. On a beautiful day we can open the garden doors to create the perfect setting for a perfect day. The Tuinsalon is perfectly suited for your reception or party.
The room is suited for 80 - 125 persons and will have several high tables and several seats. We also have the fantastic Damzaal were you can have approx. 175 guests. This room is decorated in a classical and Italian style creating the perfect ambiance for your wedding or party. We offer various arrangements for your reception. It is also possible to arrange it to your own special wishes and demands. Our reception arrangements are only possible in between 08.00 and 18.00 o'clock.

LET THE PARTY BEGIN
For your wedding party we can offer you our Damzaal, for a maximum of
200 persons. If you want to book your own live band please tell us in
advance so we can make sure there is enough room for the band and its
members in the room, or on the stage. Other options are also possible
(after consultation). We can also supply live bands, please contact us
for suggestions. Starting at 12,50 per person our kitchen can put together
a lovely buffet for your guests, existing of all kinds of warm and cold
dishes that you have chosen. We can also serve a luxurious diner for you
and your guests in between reception and party. A more classical coffee
lunch can also be served. During your gala night we will serve drinks
ΰ la carte and various snacks. You can also choose from one of our packages,

The end After having had a perfect gala night and wedding reception in
the Damhotel, you can spend the night in the romantic bridal suite. This
suite has the Dam hotel's ambiance and has a splendid view on the beautiful
Keizersgracht and offers you the possibility to relax and look back at
a wonderful wedding day. We are happy to book hotel rooms for your guests
as well. In the morning we serve you a lovely breakfast. We can also serve
an extra nice breakfast for your guests who have also stayed the night
in our hotel. All rooms a shower and bath, toilet and TV. If you book
your wedding party with us, the bridal suite is complimentary!
